National Stress Awareness 16th April

National Stress Day April 16
I think most of us are already aware of and likely experience that April is National Stress Awareness Month. The world ‘s population is almost grinding under this serious issue which defect our daily working routine. The fast routine at which we handle our daily lives added to our increasing commitments is an unquestionable formula for us. According to the latest research, nearly half of all above youth suffer from adverse health effects due to stress where the body feels increased physical, emotional and mental responses.

Two of the most common additions of stress are Work and Family. These are at not the very least how these two intersect. We think “balancing” work and family life will change some of the pressure, but the issue with the term ”balance” is that it implies that everything should be equal. So if one side has the weigh a little more than the other, it is presumably out of balance.

Stress Ratio In Our Generation

These days students of every age have higher stress level because of the examinations, choosing a career, deadlines of assignments, returning to study after vacations, pressure of combining paid work and study, difficulty in organizing work, poor time management, and family troubles. Students of the kinder garden have big bags with a lot books. They got stressed by looking at a lot of books, home work and other activities. They don’t know how to manage them and it affects their mental and physical health. For teens, the most commonly reported sources of stress are school(83%), getting into a good college or deciding what to do after high school(69%), and financial concerns for their family(65%). In high school and university students have different problems like bullying, choosing a career path, jobs, supporting their family and other family problems etc.
Most of the students are reported normal(54%) or lower(39%) stress, but women reported significantly higher stress levels as compared to men. The main sources of the stress were examinations, choosing the career path, and family troubles and problems. Today’s young generation are the most anxious ever, according to mental health survey... in 2016, nearly two /thirds of college students have overwhelming anxiety, according to the National College Health Assessment.

Students under considerable emotional stress would not perform will in school. Stress can also affect our emotional intelligence. It negatively impacts our ability to intuit other people’s feelings, convey our own feelings and communicate.

Disadvantage of Stress

Heart disease, asthma, obesity, diabetes, headaches, depression, anxiety, gastrointestinal problems, and alzheimer’s disease are the diseases that are caused because of stress or somehow related to stress. We can manage our stress level by exercise, get some air, stay positive, organize your academic life, stop procrastinating, take one step at a time, spend time with positive friends, managing time, water therapy, and do something you love.

Take wares in your priorities, activities and commitments to determine where you can influence alleviations in your life. This will be a help guide to your decisions and keep you focused on what is primary and what you can control. Reducing stress and finding work-life satisfaction is not just about trying to “fit’ work into our life, but about how everything in our life fits together. Much of our stress initiates from feelings that we just do not have a control on our own lives. And if we allow the control to be happen, we can do it but indeed lose that control.

How can go away from Stress
Start with some of the small things to get feet wet and get rid of stress. While working in offices, workers seems to be disrespected by their heads or boss so that it makes them stressed by full time working in offices. You should request to come to work a half hour later to reduce your commute time and utilize your extra time in the morning with the kids. It will greatly help you to get rid of mental stress. Like this take an hour on Sunday to plan your week’s meal (eating in and out is okay, not everything has to be homemade!). You should hire a neighborhood mother’s helper to do laundry twice a week. To lower the stress level, reduce your coffee intake by one cup and switch to skim milk.
Sometimes we considers that stress can cause high anger or rage to a normal person that he or she cannot control to their selves. Whenever I feel that due to stress I cannot control my anger then I take a deep breath and have a glass of water to drink and recite Bismillah. It is great trick you can say that to lower the rage. Whenever you get stressed, try to calm yourself first. By sharing your problems with others can also help you to reduce the mental problem.

Some tools that help with stress include.

  •    Develop coping skills for stress level.
  •      Recognize and let go of the things you cannot change.
  •       Daily bases exercise helps  to let go mental anxiety.
  •       Eating a balanced diet is like a fuel to our bodies so we’re able to better cope with stress.

I think it is critical to have working hours and non-working hours together and we can recognize that these don’t generally fall neatly and accurately in one half of the day or the other as if assigned. When it comes to work-life satisfaction, think of it along a continuum based upon a 24-hour clock, rather than a in chunks of hours or days. There are general structures within this timeframe we live by, for example, our nanny comes from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day. If during those hours I want to go to my kid’s school to volunteer class time, I will do that, then make up the work time at night.
